Shelley Gunton, co-founder of Castor & Pollux Pet Works, was recently a guest on Rick Rockhill’s talk radio show. The conversation centered around what it means to be a “natural” or “organic” product, and the benefits of feeding these foods to your pet.

We eat almost all organic foods. A recent promotion by Petco about natural and organic pet food grabbed our attention because our dog made it known she was ready for a change in her food. We tried Organix and were startled by her reaction.
WOW, now our senior furkid goes to the cabinet and barks for her food. She chooses the flavor by sniffing the can.
What we love is that we can get this great brand at a number of retailers. It is great to be able to offer her food which fits our lifestyle, keeps her eyes bright and focused and gives our Vet reassurance her nutritional needs are met despite a chronic but well controlled medical condition.
I had switch cat foods because one of my cats had allergies to glutton and corn. Organix was the only food I found that he would eat. How he is a healthy and frisky kitty. It is really important to me to find a company that makes their food in the US. I lost two cats to the dread canned food distaster several years ago. It is important to know that a company will keep the safety of our pets in mind which is the reason I will stay with Castor & Pollux.
