Keep Pets Safe on July 4th

The 4th of July holiday can be a fun day filled with family, BBQs and fun. But, if there are fireworks displays in your neighborhood, it can be an extremely stressful night for your pets. Many dogs and cats are terrified of fireworks, but even if your pet doesn’t appear to have this fear, it’s still best to take precautions- you never know when your pet might get spooked and run off.

The Oregon Humane Society has put together some information on how to keep your pets safe this holiday, and what to do if they go missing. Please take the time to read their tips so you (and your pet) can have a happy 4th of July weekend.
